Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers, as a full acceding member of the ESDC Executive Academic Board since 2021, participated with four (4) Cadets in the Common Module “Common Security and Defense Policy – CSDP” (from the 22nd to 28th of Oct 23) and in the “Theresan Military Academic Forum – TMAF 2023” (from the 5th to 11th of Nov 23) both events were organized by Theresan Military Academy in Neustadt (Austria) under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), with the participation of eighty-nine (89) Cadets from thirteen (13) countries in the first case and eleven (11) countries in the second one.
The courses aimed to enrich the knowledge on subjects related to the European Defense and Security Policy and to intensify the relations between the military academies of the countries members of the European Defense and Security College (ESDC) in the context of Erasmus+.
The Cadets enriched their knowledge by working in groups and team activities, while the interaction with the other participants, through the constructive exchange of opinions and knowledge, contributed to understanding the need to create a common European culture among the future officers of the EU member states’ Armed Forces.
The exchange of aspects and experiences between the Cadets had a major role in those courses, as the cooperation of the EU countries in the future will be established by the new officers of the Armed Forces.
