On Friday, 8 May 2026, the Military Academy of Combat Support Officers hosted the Defense Attaché of Albania, Colonel Arian Boufi, who was welcomed by the Commandant of the Academy, Brigadier General Matthaios Savvidis, together with a delegation of his staff officers.
During his visit to the Academy, he was given a general briefing on the history, mission, organisation and current activities of HMACSO, as well as on its direct connection with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).
An exchange of perspectives followed regarding the combined academic and military training that HMACSO cadets receive.
Subsequently, a tour of the Academy’s facilities and Museum was conducted for the Albanian Defense Attaché, who also signed the visitor’s book.
