During the period from 15 to 17 June 2026, the Academy’s Commander Brigadier General Matthew Savvidis, accompanied by the Director of Academics Colonel (Law) Matthew Vassilakis, participated in the meeting of European Union Military Academies Commandants’ Seminar 2026 (EUMACS 2026), which was co-organized and held in Pafos, Cyprus.
The purpose of the meeting was to improve / promote the international collaborations between the Higher Military Educational Institutions as well as to inform their Commanders on current and future educational activities, which are carried out under the auspices of the ESDC.
In addition, the event included presentations, discussions and updates on the activities of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Young Officers (Military Erasmus).
The participants had the opportunity to carry out a broad exchange of views on issues concerning the educational activities of each institution, the exchange of educational methods and practices through the mobility of Cadets and Young Officers.
