On Friday July 10 2026 the Military Attaché of the French Embassy in Athens, Captain Arnaut Lacote, visited Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers (HMACSO) and was welcomed by the Academy’s Commandant, Brigadier General Matthew Savvidis, and a delegation of its staff.
During his presence at the Academy, he was informed about the history, the mission, the organization, the current activities of HMACSO, as well as its direct connection with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).
This was followed by a discussion and clarifications regarding the combined academic and military education that HAMCSO provides to its cadets.
He took a tour of the Academy’s facilities and the Museum, where he signed the guest book.
