On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, the Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers, in cooperation with the Directorate of Reforestation of Central Macedonia, carried out a tree-planting activity in the area of Filyro, Thessaloniki, as part of events celebrating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of SIS – SSAS. The activity took place near the under-construction University Pediatric Hospital of Thessaloniki.
The activity was attended, under the leadership of the Director of Studies, Colonel (Legal) Matthaios Vasilakis, by staff members of the Directorate of Studies and the Cadet Battalion, cadets from all departments, as well as civilian personnel.
This initiative highlights the willingness of the cadets to volunteer, practically demonstrating the contribution of the Armed Forces to society.
