Participation of HMACSO Cadets in the Parachutist School (SCHAL)

On 1 September 2026, a graduation ceremony was held at the Parachutist School (SCHAL) to mark the successful completion of the Basic Parachutist Training Course by cadets and students of the Productive Military Academies. During the ceremony, the graduates were presented with their diplomas and the distinctive Static-Line Parachutist qualification wings, in the presence of the Commander of the Inter-Service Command for Academic Education (ISCAE), Lieutenant General Anastasios Polychronou.

A total of ninety-two (92) cadets from the Productive Military Academies successfully completed the training, as follows:

54 cadets from the Hellenic Military Academy (HMA)

13 cadets from the Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers (HMACSO)

5 cadets from the School of Military Nursing Officers (SAN)

20 cadets from the Non-Commissioned Officers’ Academy (NCOA)

The successful completion of the Basic Parachutist Training Course, culminating in the award of the Static-Line Parachutist qualification wings, constitutes a significant achievement in the military training and professional development of the participating cadets and students. It further contributes to the enhancement of their operational preparedness, discipline, resilience, and ability to effectively discharge their duties under demanding and challenging conditions.

The participation of cadets of the Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers (HMACSO) in the Parachutist School is fully aligned with the Academy’s commitment to providing comprehensive and high-standard military education and training. It complements the academic education and professional development afforded throughout their studies, while contributing to the cultivation of the military qualities, skills, and attributes required of future Officers of the Hellenic Armed Forces.
