During the week of 17–23 May 2026, the 1st Innovation Forum of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) took place at Pavilion 15 of the Trade International Fair (TIF) as well as at other university venues. The Forum was organized in collaboration with other University Institutions. Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers participated in the event with alumni officers and cadets.
The Academy presented innovative activities and initiatives, which are Mock Trials, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training and Common Modules on military-related topics, in which cadets and civilians from many European Military Academies and other Greek Institutions also participate.
Furthermore, during the Official Award ceremony honoring the top-performing students from all the departments of AUTh, attended by the Director of Academics, Colonel (Legal Corps) Matthaios Vasilakis, the first-ranked fourthyear cadet Demosthenis Diamantidis was awarded for his academic excellence. The Academy’s Choir also participated in this ceremony.
Through this extraversion, the Academy successfully highlighted its dual role, which is played through the inseparable combination of academic and military education, while demonstrating its active presence in the social and academic life of Thessaloniki.
